L’Orient introduces ‘Sab Five Five’

L’ORIENT Boutique, owned by Sabrina Wong (Sab) is introducing its new fashion collection called the “Sab Five Five” at the boutique in Kiulap.
The collection is locally manufactured with the theme of ‘deconstruction’ to produce Sab’s ‘one-of-a-kind’ garments. Her fabrics are sourced internationally because Sab collects rare fabrics like vintage tablecloths or designer clothing that she deconstructed to create her new design from scratch.
Her inspiration came from antiques, statues, skulls, roses and birds collaged into abstract designs. Printings for her designs are made in a traditional way – hand silkscreen printing method. Sab tends to minimise mass-production because she wishes to keep her production as organic as possible.
Sab Five Five collection reflects punk edge style with a touch of feminine flair for a softer side of punk.
Other than L’Orient Boutique, Sab established Sab Five Five store in Claremont, Western Australia since 2005 and the label are stocked in four boutiques in Western Australia.
