Still no school books

WE ARE approaching March and we have yet to receive textbooks for my daughter who is in Year 1.

Every time we call to enquire, they are always sold out. Is it because they are ordering only in limited numbers or the supplier is still facing delays?

Exams are coming up and I believe a lot of students still haven’t got a complete set of books, despite the assurances from MoE that there will be an ample supply of books. Why does this always happen every year?

Can I suggest this to bookstores, if a person is looking for a book but it is not in stock, kindly take note of this so that they are aware how many people are actually looking for that book.

Who knows that in their other branches, they may have the book, so it’s just a matter of transferring their stock to locations which have high demand.
