Prepaid meter token via mobile portal, SMS
DSTIncomm has introduced two new added services for the convenience of Department of Electrical Services prepaid meter users by accessing on their mobile phone to get the 20-Digit TOKEN.
Powerkad users can get the 20-Digit TOKEN to recharge their electricity prepaid meter credit by accessing through a mobile portal or DST Premium SMS 38144.
Through mobile portal www.powerkad.com/m, Prima and Easi subscribers can key in their mobile number, meter number with 16-Digit PIN and just press ‘SEND’. The owner will receive a SMS notification with a 20-digit token encrypted on their mobile screen (internet data charges will apply).
Another method is by using DST Premium SMS service just sending via sms 38144.
Easi users can now key in their DES Meter No * 16-Digit PIN and SEND to DST Premium SMS Number 38144. The owner will receive a notification on the confirmation order with 20-Digit TOKEN attached from POWERKad to owner’s EASI mobile screen displaying the tokens.
This premium sms service is currently available for Easi users only and $0.10 charge will apply for using the service.
Easi subscribers have to ensure that they have sufficient mobile credit to receive the 20-Digit TOKEN.
Since the launch of POWERKad service in September 2011, POWERKad users can purchase physical POWERKad, scratch and send the 16-Digit PIN to 8998144 or 8160160 to get the 20-Digit TOKEN.
The new services are to facilitate DES prepaid meter users to top up prepaid meter credit in a simple and quicker way.
