‘No buses to the airport’ shocker
RIDING a bus to the airport with some Korean tourists we were shocked to be dropped off at the Airport Mall which is around 2km from the airport.
When asked the bus driver and conductor told us that no buses are allowed to enter the airport premises and if they do they will be charged $50.
What a shocking rule!
My fellow Korean friends were shocked, too. Imagine walking a 2km distance with all that luggage!
How and why is it that buses must not enter the airport?
How about tourists who are exploring Brunei and would rather ride a bus which only costs a dollar than a taxi that costs $20.
How about the weak and those who have kids? Do they also have to walk?
We need to know from the authorities what this is all about.
