Politeknik Brunei celebrates N-Day

POLITEKNIK Brunei celebrated the Sultanate’s 29th National Day as the institution recently marked its first anniversary.

The Student Union, with support of the Student Affairs Department at the instituition, organised a whole-school activity where lecturers and students were urged to wear the national attire – “Cara Melayu” and “Baju Kurung” to instill the spirit of patriotism and love for the nation.

The programme included hoisting the National flag, singing a patriotic song entitled, “Brunei Bumi Bertuah” and a group photo session outside the main building at Jalan Ong Sum Ping.

The institution will also be organising a Blood Donation Drive for its staff and students on Wednesday, February 27, 9am to 11am.
