Wing-it Brunei food festival well received

THE relative success and popularity of local food businesses in the country has shown a marked rise due to an upturn in demand and interest from customers, coupled with its unique and distinctive ingredients and taste.
Wing-it Brunei, carrying the theme “Wingin’, Bakin’ and Shakin’ n Singin’”, successfully organised a two-day mini food festival with a subtle touch of national pride with a selection of items from various entrepreneurial businesses inspired with mini-flags and national colours to commemorate the National Day celebration.
The overwhelming response of customers also reflected the success of the “Wingin’, Bakin’, and Shakin’ n Singin’” themed event and was evident with popular items in various businesses sold out within two hours of the opening time.
Organisers said that over 600 cupcakes were sold out within two hours during the first day of the dessert sale. Customers came still in huge numbers with figures expected to increase even gradually with other selections of desserts as well as the popularly sought after ribs and chicken wings from Wing-it Brunei.
Several businesses selling an array of irresistible desserts, including cupcakes filled in various conventional flavours, attended to a beeline of customers during the two-day food event, which comprised of Muffins Paradise Brunei, Sweet as Sara, Pvintaj Cupcakes, Wondermama Brunei and Shakecolate. Also making an appearance was Cakes & Crafts.
Furthermore, there was also a light music entertainment provided by talented local musician Aziz Harun and Damai Heroes.
Wing-it Brunei specialises in chicken wings with a selection of tantalising flavours including Lemon Pepper, Ola Cola, Garlic Parmesan, Atomic and Cheddar Jalapeno served with a portion of fries and dips. Side dishes also include veggie sticks, butter rice or crab salad.
