Consistently a popular event especially amongst young education seekers, REXPO has grounds for its growing popularity.

Organiser Ahmad Rezal Chan, the Senior Partner of REXPO, says sending their children to Malaysia have major advantages compared to other alternatives.

He stated that the costs of education and living are relatively lower compared to other alternatives. Malaysia’s close proximity as a neighbour is another reason why REXPO’s is held in high regard by Bruneians. Additionally of course, the similarities in culture, food and language are definitely plus points.

These students have a high selection of courses to choose from, with over 1,000 courses from diploma to postgraduate studies, and friendly representatives from these institutions were on hand to assist any students with queries pertaining to respective courses.

A popular study destination is the Curtin University conveniently located in Sarawak.

The university’s Student Recruitment Officer, Raihanah Izzah, said since the institution’s launch in 1999, a good number of Bruneian students have made Curtin their first choice when choosing a Malaysian university.

A new concept in this year’s REXPO is the REXPO Registration Rewards that enables students who apply to study in Malaysia during the event to receive fantastic travel and study abroad rewards that are aimed to provide invaluable assistance to the students in Malaysia, such as the ability to choose from Apple iPhones, HP Compaq Llptops, Blackberry devices and ACER desktops.

The two-day event sees its conclusion today (February 24) with the event opening its doors for students from 2pm to 7pm.
