3rd Brunei Bike Week from March 1-3

THE 3rd Brunei Bike Week organised by Independent Motorcycle Club and Cityneon as the Official Contractor will see the participation of bikers from six foreign countries.

The event, from March 1-3, with the theme “Unity Through Diversity” will see bikers from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and UAE joining bikers in Brunei.

Detail of the bike week were revealed in a press conference chaired by Pg Azmanishah Pg Hj Abd Rahman, President of Independent Motorcycle Club, with Dato’ Jack Ting and Mohd Iskandar, Vice Chairman of Independent Motorcycle Club.

In previous years, Brunei Bike Week had seen approximately 30,000 to 40,000 visitors and this year’s target will be the same.

The 3rd Brunei Bike Week is aimed at promoting tourism in Brunei, unity among Borneo bikers and safety awareness. It is also held to coincide with the 29th National Day and support charitable organisations such as SMARTER Brunei.

In addition to the bike week, Pg Azmanishah revealed that Borneo Lady Bikers will be hosting their first annual meeting at The Empire Hotel & Country Club.

The 3rd Brunei Bike Week, open to people of all walks of life, includes activities such as custom motorcycle show, cultural shows, clubs showcases, reptile show, car show, safety gears exhibition and competitions.
