Muse forced to scale back BRITs performance
MUSE have been told to scale back their performance at the BRIT Awards on February 20.
The ‘Supremacy’ band – who are nominated for Best Live Band and Best Live Act – will open the show with one of their trademark all-guns-blazing stage shows featuring 60 dancers, which will culminate with fireworks exploding over the heads of the audience.
However, the number of fireworks has had to be scaled back, over health and safety fears.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Bosses were concerned at the amount of pyrotechnics on stage so told Muse in no uncertain terms to cull the fireworks.
“There will be around 20,000 people inside The 02 and organisers couldn’t risk causing a blaze or injury.” BANG!
