Islamic Religious Department holds workshop for teachers

Thirteen participants comprising 11 principals and two heads of religious teacher in Temburong recently attended a workshop entitled ‘Establishing Cooperation on Culture in Supervision’. It took place at the Arabic Preparatory School in Temburong.

The workshop was the first of its kind being held and organised by the Religious School Inspectorate Unit of the Islamic Religious Department and aimed to give informative facts and skills to implement suspervisory process and to empower self belief in providing spontaneous feedback.
It was also to give important guideline to implement any supervisory and feedback session towards the teachers under their school catchment area through the process of mentoring, peer coaching and reverse physchology. The facilitator at the workshop was Hasbi Mohd Suhaily, Inspectorate Division Head of the Islamic Education Department.
