Jada Pinkett Smith: Charity work is important

Jada Pinkett Smith keeps her children grounded with charity work.

The ‘Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted’ star’s kids Jaden, 14, and Willow, 12, have forged showbiz careers in their own right but she and their father, ‘Men in Black’ actor Will Smith, always keep their feet on the ground by making them help those in need.

Jada explained: “One of the things we do is a lot of charity work. Willow and I are very involved with an organisation that takes care of victims of human trafficking. When you expose your kids to that it gives them a sense of reality and a sense of purpose outside of themselves. Put them in circumstances where their efforts are needed to make things better.

“My grandmother was a community activist. I kept that particular idea alive with my family. It takes my kids out of the Hollywood bubble. And I really like that.” BANG!
