Bikers convoy stops by Kg Keriam

THE Kg Keriam Village Consultative Council, Keriam Malay Association (PESAKA) and Kg Keriam Mosque Takmir Commitee members on Friday received a group of 160 bikers from the PEMODA Association led by its President, Pg Hj Redzuan bin Pg Hj Ahmad and the Harley Davidson Owners Group of Brunei Darussalam led by its Director, Awg Hj Malik bin Hamdan who are on the “Konvoi Kenali Negara Kitani 2013” (KKNK 2013) tour.

The chairman of the ceremony and President of PESAKA, Awg Ahanapi bin Hj Mahadi welcomed the group and touched on the development and achievement of the organisation in economic, social and cultural fields. An example of this is the flag hoisting and parade to mark the country’s national day celebration and His Majesty’s birthday anniversary. The community also took part in community work and in an international cultural festival such as in Tawau, Sabah.

Also present were members of the Legislative Council, YB Orang Kaya Maha Bijaya Awg Hj Othman bin Uking and YB Orang Kaya Jaya Putera Dato Paduka Awg Hj Muhd Taha bin Abdul Rauf who is also the Penghulu of Mukim Keriam.

Among the aims of the convoy were to forge closer ties with Village Consultative Council members and get to know Village Consultative Council products better.
