Ministry of Finance invites public to Customers’ Appreciation Day

THE Ministry of Finance (MoF) is holding its Customers’ Appreciation Day today, where members of the public are encouraged to visit the booths, as well as participate in a number of activities.

The exhibition, put up by departments and divisions under the ministry, is opened until February 16, 7.45am to 12.15pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm at the Ministry of Finance Building, Commonwealth Drive.

Among the programmes lined up include a series of talks on finance-related matters by invited speakers from the National Single Window Scheme, Deposit Protection Scheme, House Financing Scheme, Invoice Tracking System, Financial Planning, Tax Incentives and System for Tax and Revenue Services (STARS), as well as motivational talks on ‘Excellent Customer Service’. The talks are intended as a platform for the various representatives of ministries, government and private sector as well as other invited guests to participate in a constructive dialogue which will assist the ministry to fulfil their various roles more effectively. This is part of the ministry’s outreach programme in providing a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of the ministry.
