Ellen Page to make directorial debut
ELLEN Page is making her directorial debut.
The ‘Juno’ actress will step behind the camera to helm her very first drama, ‘Miss Stevens’, and has enlisted ‘Scary Movie’ comedienne Anna Faris to play the titular role.
The film, scripted by Julia Hart, will see Anna portray a depressed teacher who chaperones a group of high school students on a weekend trip to a state drama competition, Dealine reports. Thanks to the admiration and help of her students, she learns to discover her own self-worth.
The 25-year-old ‘Inception’ star will juggle her filmmaking duties with shooting mutant superhero franchise ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’, in which she is due to reprise her role as Kitty Pryde, a girl who possesses the power to pass through almost any object. BANG!
