Royalty graces AGC’s Maulidur Rasul ceremony

THE Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) held a Maulidur Rasul ceremony at the Law and Courts Building at Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha yesterday to commemorate the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad’s (pbuh) birth.

The event was graced by Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah. Also in attendance were YAM Pengiran Anak Haji Mohammed Al-Mokhtar bin YAM Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz and the Attorney General, Datin Seri Paduka Hjh Hayati binti Pehin Orang Kaya Shahbandar Dato Seri Paduka Hj Md Salleh.

Organised by the religious events committee at the Attorney General’s Chambers, the ceremony began with a recitation of Surah al-Fatihah followed by a welcoming speech by Dayang Hjh Rahayu binti Dato Hj Abd Razak, Principal Counsel as Co-Chairperson of the event.

The highlight was the Nasyid and Dikir performances by officers and staff of the Attorney General’s Chambers.
