It was delivered at a two-day regional seminar on the expansion of knowledge and language in the 21st century, organised by the Language and Knowledge Development Centre of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).

The changes brought about by the trend did not jeopardise the strength of Adat Istiadat as these policies are based on MIB that encapsulates Adat Istiadat and makes it strong. As a result, the nation succeeded in developing in all fields of life both physically like public facilities, economy, education, health and spiritually which becomes the country’s stability such as community and religion.

Besides highlighting on Adat Istiadat and changes brought about by the current trend and to synchronise with Adat with the Islamic teachings, YAM Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz also highlighted on the Brunei’s constitution, role of the Monarch and the responsibility and undivided loyalty by the citizens and residents towards the ruler and Brunei Government administration since the British colonial era till present. Meanwhile the Director of Language and Knowledge Development Centre (PPIB), Dr Siti Sara binti Hj Ahmad said UNISSA will always support the expansion of knowledge by organising seminars and discussions on knowledge.
