Politeknik Brunei celebrates first year anniversary

IN CONJUNCTION with Politeknik Brunei’s first year anniversary of its establishment, the institute recently held mass Maghrib and Isyak prayers, as well as the recitation of Surah Yaasiin, along with Doa Kesyukuran and Dikir Marhaban at Universiti Brunei Darussalam’s (UBD) mosque.

The prayers were led by Imam Haji Md Zahid bin Haji Md Zain. The guest of honour was Ak Abdullah bin Pg Hj Tengah, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Higher Education) at the Ministry of Education. Among those in attendance were lecturers, students and staff of Politeknik Brunei.

The ceremony was a joint effort between Islamic Studies Unit from the General Studies Department, the Student Affairs Department (JHEP), as well as the Student Union of Politeknik Brunei.
