Special religious gathering for women at JP Amphitheatre

A special gathering for women in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration 1434H will be held at the Jerudong Park Amphitheatre this Saturday, February 2.

The grand finale of the event will be the presentation of the Hijrah Special Tribute Award for Women for the year 1434H.

One of the highlights of the event will be a special lecture to be presented by Datin Dr Dayang Hajah Sa’adiah binti Datu Derma Wijaya Haji Tamit, a lecturer from Universiti Brunei Darussalam. The title of the lecture is aligned with the theme of this year’s event namely “Righteous Muslimah Joyous Family”.

This will be followed with ‘Dikir Marhaban’ by officers and staff from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources as well as from the Women Committee. Meanwhile, a full rehearsal was held twice last Tuesday and yesterday.

The special gathering for women in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration is organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.
