New imports to boost DPMM FC

BRUNEI DPMM FC’s captain Rosmin Kamis is looking forward to renew his ambitious aim of winning the Singapore League’s title in this upcoming season boosted with the signing of four imports Dino Drpic and Ivan Bosnjak from Croatia, Stephane Aubert Saint Aloi Auvray of France and Joa Vitoe Rocha De Carvalho Moreira of Portugal.

Rosmin who has been an inspirational leader for Brunei DPMM FC was speaking with the media yesterday during the unveiling of the Brunei DPMM FC home and away kit for the 2013 Singapore League.

“With the new imports, I think we will perform better this year. Our target is winning the title however we will take on one game at a time,” Rosmin said.

“I think that the new imports can contribute to the team performance and during the training so far, they have shown some good quality of football,” he added.

Meanwhile, Brunei DPMM FC will be heading to Vietnam for three pre-season match-ups whereby on Feb 3 Brunei DPMM FC will play against Dong Thap FC followed by another game on Feb 4 against TP Ho Chi Minh FC and the final game will be against Saigon Xuan Thanh FC

Rosmin highlighted: “The pre-season friendlies in Vietnam will be a test as a team for us. All the four imports will be playing and we will look at how we can further improve.”

Pengiran Waslimin PSJ Pg Hj Abd Momin, Brunei DPMM FC’s club manager hoped that the team will do well in the preseason friendlies in Vietnam.

“I am happy with the selection of the imports this year whereby our midfield and defence have been strengthen through Dino Drpic who is a great defender and Ivan Bosnjak, the attacking midfielder and Stephane Aubert Saint Aloi Auvray of France is a good midfield player and Joa Vitoe Rocha De Carvalho Moreira who is a striker boosted our attacking option,” Pg Waslimin said.

“For the fifth import position, we are still waiting for Santos to come back from his knee injury,” Pg Waslimin added.

He revealed that the Singapore League will kick off on Feb 20 while the Charity Shield match between SAF FC and Tampines FC will be on Feb 15.
