RACOBRA in Thailand for international powerboat race

REPRESENTATIVES from Brunei Darussalam’s Radio Control Boat Racing Association (RACOBRA) recently left for Thailand to participate in the 1st Thailand International RC Powerboat Championship 2013 at Chonburi, Pattaya.

According to a press release, the delegation comprising of 20 team members was led by Haji Adi Noh bin Tinggal who is also RACOBRA’s Vice President, while the coordinators of the squad are Haji Mohammad Noorlidini bin Haji Mahlidini and Kamran bin Bongsu.

The competition will take place at Chonburi in the weekend. RACOBRA Brunei Darussalam will be up against RC Powerboat teams from Asean countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.

The team representing RACOBRA prepared for the championship several months prior to the tournament and performed trial runs for their RC powerboats.
