Members of the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) were urged to be more committed and show some responsibility towards the association.
Dr Hj Abdul Latif bin Chuchu, President of PPPMB, in an interview during a PPPMB general meeting held at the RBA Golf Club yesterday, said the association has 80 per cent unpaid member fees.

PPPMB has more than 200 registered members.
Dr Hj Abdul Latif also urged its members to focus more on their businesses and not to lose out to others.
“There is no use to blame other entrepreneurs for their success. Malay entrepreneurs need to work harder as well and aim higher. That’s the only way to progress,” he said.
From the association’s financial report, it showed that Dr Hj Abdul Latif contributed more than $8,000 towards expenses out of the total of more than $10,000 of the association’s total income.
Dr Hj Abdul Latif said the association is made up of Malay entrepreneurs in small-scale businesses and the association keeps the entrepreneurs well-informed about the business environment so that none get left behind.
Dr Hj Abdul Latif asked members to be careful about what they are speculating about the association while clearing the air about a news article stating that PPPMB was building 500 factories. He said the news is not true.
