AS THE grand prize winner of the Kia Lucky Drive to Australia draw, Hjh Suryanah binti Hj Jublee and a companion flew off to Melbourne, Australia, on Wednesday to watch the exciting match-up of Roger Federer versus Andy Murray in the semi-finals of the Australia Open 2013 live at the stand.
Hjh Suryanah received an all-sponsored air ticket with accommodation for two. She was also given the tickets to the men’s singles.
In an interview, Hjh Suryanah said, “I am excited and really happy to go to see the men’s singles semi-finals match-up in Australia, thanks to Kia and Grand Motors.”
Hjh Suryanah, who test drove and also bought a Kia Sportage Diesel back in October, also commented on her new ride: “I like Kia Sportage because it’s comfortable to drive in and it’s an affordable car. I work in Belait and have to commute back to the capital on the weekends so a car like Sportage suited me just nicely.”
Besides Hjh Suryanah, her family members are also big fan of Kia. In total, there are six Kia vehicles in the family.
The Kia Lucky Drive to Australia promotion started from September 29 and ended December 6 last year. Kia is the major sponsor of the Australian Open Tour 2013 Grand Slam, one of the most prestigious tournaments in tennis.
Only selected distributors around the world are selected for the promotion. A total of 606 entries were entered in the draw.
Seeing off Hjh Suryanah at the airport on Wednesday was Abby of Grand Motors, the main distributor of Kia vehicles in Brunei.
