Local teacher to participate in Japanese Language programme

THE Continuing Education Division (CED) of the Ministry of Education has selected one local teacher to participate in the ‘Training Programme for Overseas Teachers of the Japanese Language’ under Japan Foundation’s Japanese-Language Institution in Saitama, Japan from January until March this year.

Mohammad Nazriman bin Hj Abd Rahman, an Education Officer at Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam (SMJA) Secondary School, has been teaching Japanese Language during the evenings for the past seven years under the CED together with several Japanese and local teachers.

The Education Officer hoped to brush up his Japanese Language and thus find new methods in teaching Japanese Language based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and video to make his classes more interactive for both students and teachers.
