OBG, PMO collaborate on ‘The Report: Brunei Darussalam 2012’

OXFORD Business Group (OBG) has teamed up with the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) once again for its latest report on the Sultanate’s economic development and investment opportunities.

The partnership, which dates since 2007, once again will see OBG’s editorial and research team pool resources with the PMO to produce the group’s forthcoming publication, The Report: Brunei Darussalam 2012.

The Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was represented by Awang Haji Md Zamree bin Haji Junaidi, Senior Administrative Officer, Prime Minister’s Office and Oxford Business Group was represented by Elizabeth Denworth, the Country Director. The contract signing ceremony was witnessed by Awang Haji Mahrub bin Haji Murni, the Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The report is expected to highlight Brunei’s efforts in its drive for economic growth and productivity in emerging sectors as part of its 10th National Development Plan, RKN 10 and Wawasan Brunei 2035. The publication will include a detailed, sector-by-sector guide for foreign investors, alongside a wide range of interviews with the most prominent political, economic and business leaders.

Over the years, the report has been well received by international investors and the latest report will provide business leaders worldwide with a detailed and accurate picture of the next exciting phase in Brunei’s economic development and the PMO looks forward to playing a part in its production.

The Report: Brunei Darussalam 2012 will be another guide to the many facets of the Sultanate, including its macroeconomics, infrastructure, banking and other sectoral developments. The report will be available in print or online.
