MIB Supreme Council holds briefing on Brunei’s philosophy

TO BETTER understand the status of the Sultanate’s unique philosophy – the Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) – as enacted in the Brunei Constitutional Documents, local experts from the MIB Supreme Council yesterday gathered for a briefing at The Centrepoint Hotel, Gadong.

The briefing was also aimed to uphold His Majesty’s titah on the declaration of independence in 1984 which stated that Brunei will be an independent country based on the MIB philosophy.
Present at the event chaired by Dr Awg Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, the Senior Special Duties Officer and Secretary/Chief Secretariat of the MIB Supreme Council, was Dyg Hjh Norazamiah binti Hj Hambali from the Attorney General’s Chambers.
