UBD ‘A’ blank Polytechnic Brunei ‘B’, 7-0

POLYTECHNIC Brunei ‘B’ had a game to forget after being thumped 7-0 by Group A table-toppers UBD ‘A’, at the Berakas Sports Complex yesterday afternoon.
Ak Md Amirul Mukmin set the ball rolling for UBD ‘A’ in the 7th minute, and eight minutes later it was 2-0 after Daniel Tanggiling found the back of the net.

Awg Zulhilmi bin A Rais made it three for the home side in the 39th minute, with Muhammad Hafizuddin netting on the stroke of half-time.
Muhammad Hafizuddin doubled his tally five minutes after the restart, with Awg Zulhilmi scoring his second of the night in the 59th minute.
Md Hidayatullah bin Alidin rounded off the scoring three minutes of time, allowing for UBD ‘A’ to maintain leadership of Group A on goal difference despite ITB ‘A’s 2-1 win over KUPUSB ‘B’ in the evening fixture.
The Uni Cup continues tomorrow, with UNISSA ‘A’ taking on Brunei Polytechnic ‘B’ at the Royal Brunei Recreation Club.
