CURIOUS on how ice cream cakes are made? At the Airport Mall Dairy Queen, customers can take a look at how cake decorators make these famous treats through their open window. Dairy Queen Outlets in Brunei serve the DQ and DQ Blizzard ice cream cakes. The DQ cake is made of rich layers of dark, thick fudge and crisp chocolate crunch with cool and creamy vanilla layers while for the DQ Blizzard cake, customers can choose any of the Blizzard flavours for the cake.
DQ and DQ Blizzard cakes are unique treats ready for take-out with various design choices and customisable messages. Customised cake designs are also available on request in which a minimum of two days is required for customised orders.
Dairy Queen is also introducing another addition to their ice cream menu. The new blizzard in a waffle cone is available in three of Brunei’s favourite flavours – Oreo Double Delight, Strawberry Cheesecake and Green Tea Almond.
The Chairman of MaxProf Foods, owner and operator of Dairy Queen Brunei, Johnny Liew said, “All our cakes are made with 100 per cent ice cream. Our reduced-fat ice cream cake is an alternative to the traditional baked cake. Now, people have a unique way of celebrating any occasion – be it a graduation, anniversary, wedding, family reunion or just a gathering for friends and loved ones.”
DQ cakes are priced from $28 onwards for a two-pound cake and DQ Blizzard cakes are priced from $33 onwards for a two-pound cake.
