Call for U-23 footballers to sign up for SEA Games

THE Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Youth and Sports Department in cooperation with the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) will hold a preliminary selection session to select under 23 years old football players to represent the country in the 27th SEA Games in Myanmar.

The preliminary selection will be held in three districts where for Tutong, it will take place next Friday, January 25 at 3pm at Tutong Sports Complex. For players in the Brunei-Muara and Temburong Districts, it will be held on January 26 at 7pm at the track and field sports complex in Berakas.

For the Belait District, it will be held on Sunday, January 27 at the Shell Recreation Club.

Any players wishing to take part must be born between 1990 and 1996 and are citizens and residents of the country. They should bring along their identity cards and sports shoes. The final selection process will be held on Monday, February 4 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium, Berakas.
