Singapore Minister visits Narcotics Control Bureau

SINGAPORE’S Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs is in Brunei for a working visit, where the delegation visited the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Supervision Division in Kg Tungku and the Pusat Al-Islah Rehabilitation Centre in Muara yesterday.

Mr Masagos Zulkifli bin Masagos Mohamad, the Senior Minister of State said the delegation’s visit was aimed at learning about the drug supervision and treatment and rehabilitation programmes that the Narcotics Control Bureau offers.

The delegates accompanying the Senior Minister of State comprised of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Singapore.

The delegation was briefed on the overview of the drug supervision and treatment as well as the rehabilitation arm of NCB and was also given a tour.
