BSB Chinese Chamber of Commerce hosts DG of Invest Hong Kong to luncheon

IN AN effort to boost investment between Hong Kong and Brunei Darussalam, the Director General (DG) of Invest Hong Kong, Simon Galpin met with the president of the BSB Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Dr Chan Sui Kiat in a luncheon reception yesterday

Accompanying Simon Galpin are Fong Ngai, the Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Asean) whom is based in Singapore; Miss Elsie Tang, Manager of International Operations from Invest Hong Kong and Willie Tan, Deputy Head of Investment Promotion also from Invest Hong Kong.

The BSB Chinese Chamber of Commerce was represented by its Deputy President, Lim Chai Hoon, Vice President Yeo Hong Pow, as well as several others members.

It’s the first time that Simon Galpin visited Brunei, mainly to look at the prospect of local companies, especially SMEs, into investing in Hong Kong and vice versa.

During the luncheon, both parties had fruitful discussions on the economy as well as potential opportunities in investments.
