WITH 2013 expected to be a very busy year, Royal Brunei Technical Services Sdn Bhd (RBTS) held a Family Day for their staff and families yesterday at Pantai Seri Kenangan in Tutong District to get the year going with a good start.

The fun-filled day started with an opening remark by the Chief Executive Officer, Hjh Rosmawati binti Hj Manaf, prior to a warm-up exercises. She mentioned that 2013 will be a busy year for RBTS, especially when Brunei Darussalam becomes the Chair of Asean, and RTBS will again host the Brunei Darussalam International Defence Exhibition and Conference by end of this year.

Hjh Rosmawati advised the staff of RBTS to work hard, work smart and don’t forget their family.

Also in attendance were RBTS’ Board of Director members, namely Hjh Rahayu binti Dato Paduka Hj abd Razak, Head of Civil Division, AGC; with Awg Adi Shamsul bin Hj Sabli, Deputy Permanent Secretary (IT and E-Government), Prime Minister’s Office; and Awg Eddie bin Dato Paduka Hj Sunny, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Development.

The staff and families were treated to a filling breakfast followed by mouthwatering BBQ lunch.

Fun games and activities were participated by staff and family members of RBTS.

Some of the games were beach football, tug-of-war, as well as building sand castles.

According to Amar Dini, the chairperson of the event, these activities were aimed at strengthening the ties and bonds of not only the RBTS staff, but also their family members

The event ended with a prize presentation for the fun competitions.
