RAJA Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Girls Arabic Religious Secondary School (SUAMPRIPAD) recently organised an ICT Campaign from October 2-9 to help develop ICT skills and create a richer teaching and learning experience for the school community.
During the campaign, teachers were encouraged to make their lessons fun and interesting by engaging students in game-based educational platforms and exposing them to technology which would equip them for the future.
Towards the end of the week, the school hosted a group of visitors comprising school administrators, officers and teachers from religious schools nationwide.
They toured the school facilities, interacted with teachers and students as well as observed some lessons to gain more information on how the school implemented the use of ICT in classrooms.
The delegates also attended a briefing on ‘Project InTeL’, an e-government project involving computer labs in religious educational institutions, presented by ICT Coordinator Zul Husni Hj Sulaiman.
He emphasised the need to implement the use of ICT in schools in line with Brunei’s Vision 2035 and suggested a number of ways to achieve this goal which included more in-house trainings carried out by the school.
