THE Accelerator workshop programme at the iCentre continued yesterday with its third session, which was based on ‘Marketing and Market Validation’. The two-month long workshop comprises seven sessions.
The first and second sessions, which were attended primarily by the winners of last year’s IGNITE Entrepreneurship Challenge, were based on ‘Ideation’ and ‘Business Modelling’.
The workshop held yesterday was managed by Kristav Childress and set its focus on the review of various types of marketing approaches that has the capability to facilitate hands-on validation to ensure that developed products meet the needs of customers.
The programme allows participants to access workshops by joining mentoring sessions, pitching workshops and boot-camps organised by the iCentre, allowing them to gain invaluable insights, improve their entrepreneurial skills and learn to design the best possible business plan for final submission.
With an eye on equipping existing and upcoming start-ups, the programme ensures that participants understand the requisites needed to gain a foothold in the business world.
The iCentre, with the support of the Brunei Economic Development Board, has identified 11 potential start-ups, comprising last year’s IGNITE Entrepreneurship Challenge winners and selected participants that have been approved by an evaluation committee.
