A DELEGATION from Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE), led by Dr Hj Mohd Zamri bin Hj Sabli, Assistant Director of IBTE, yesterday visited the National Service Programme (PKBN) Training Camp at Sports Village in Berakas.
The delegation comprised 20 people from Malay Islamic Monarchy (MIB) Module committee such as representatives from the Energy Department, Prime Minister’s Office, Brunei Shell Petroleum, Megamas and MIB educators and Islamic Religious Knowledge from various learning institutes.
Present to deliver a talk was Director of National Service Section, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Zulkifli bin Pengiran Haji Ismail. After the briefing, the director received a souvenir from the head of delegation.
The visit ended with a tour to several facilities including trainee classes of Platoon 5, 6, 7 and 8. Currently the 4th PKBN intake is in its four-week of training which will end on March 16.
Among the objectives of the visit were to look at and better understand the National Service Programme and the essence of its implementation that focuses on strengthening the MIB philosophy in creating excellent youths.
