HANOI (Bernama) – Hungarian President Ader Janos on Sunday ended his five-day official visit to Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.
During his visit, Janos held talks with President Truong Tan Sang and met with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and National Assembly chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.
Sang and Janos agreed to enhance collaboration in various areas including education-training, science-technology, security-defence, resources-environment, healthcare and agriculture.
They will boost links between law-making bodies and strengthen effectiveness of the Inter-Governmental Committee.
Sang sought Hungary’s support for the early conclusion and signing of a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the European Union.a
