“Eating healthy, keeping fit and living a socially responsible life, it’s all related. It’s a movement that we are truly passionate about and hope will gain traction and inspire people,” commented Anna Aziz, founder of Hip and Healthy.
“With the support of the Health Promotion Centre, we want to educate people that having a healthy lifestyle is important in this day and age, and that it’s not just a passing fad or trend. It’s a way being.” The festival programme will include informative talks, work out sessions, food and drink, beauty, fashion, music, arts and crafts, henna and face painting.
For fitness enthusiasts, there will be a whole array of demonstration classes, such as dance brought by Studio Scene, Yoga with Amani, Crossfit with Getfit Crossfit, Brazilian Jiujitsu with Busiido MMA Gym and Les Mills Sh’bam with Rachel from Fitness Zone.

There will also be demonstrations on how to compost by separating organic materials from the rest of one’s garbage at home, as up to 60 per cent of one’s household refuse can be saved from the landfill.
Those who are interested may also purchase herbs, plants and other horticultural related products from Project Safe, Nurture and Soul Design.
A number of social voluntary organisations expected to be present are Green Brunei, Beach Bunch, 1 Stop Wildlife and B:Read.
