SANDAKAN, Sabah (Bernama) – The high spirit of brotherhood is the main factor which contributes to the success of Sabah Umno today, enabling it to remain stable and strong, said its liaison chairman Datuk Seri Musa Aman.
“In Sabah Umno, we are brothers and sisters pursuing Umno’s struggle. We are like one family.
“What is important is when there is a misunderstanding, there is no need for us to make a big announcement of it because family problems should be resolved through discussion,” he said when opening the Libaran Umno delegates meeting here yesterday.
The Sabah Chief Minister, who is also Libaran Umno leader, said despite Sabah Umno being the “youngest sibling” in the party, it was capable of giving huge contribution to the party and Barisan Nasional (BN).
This, he said, was when all the Sabah Umno candidates won the contest in the 2004 and 2008 general election.
