THE Halaqa group visited the Eco Ponies Garden yesterday in Lamunin to promote Brunei through nature and food. Aside from learning the importance of local produce, the visit also aimed in protecting food heritage that originated from natural resources.
The visit was in collaboration with Eco Ponies Garden to enhance public interest in learning more about local natural produce and creating a sustainable environment in which eco-tourism can flourish.
Cooking demonstrations were held during the visit, led by Chef Haji Jali who showed how to make ‘Sambal Belimbing Buluh’ and Chef Nova from The Rizqun International Hotel who demonstrated his expertise in cooking ‘Ayam Kampung Masak Lemak Pucuk Ubi’.
