THE Commissioner of Police from the Republic of Singapore, Dato Seri Pahlawan Peter Ng Joo Hee yesterday attended a Guard of Honour mounted by the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) in conjunction with the conferment of the state decoration “Darjah Pahlawan Negara Brunei Yang Amat Perkasa Darjah Pertama” (PSPNB), which carries the title “Dato Seri Pahlawan” by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam at Istana Nurul Iman yesterday.
The conferment of the state decoration carries the title ‘Dato Seri Pahlawan’.
The Singapore’s Commissioner of Police was welcomed by the Commissioner of RBPF, Dato Paduka Seri Awang Bahrin bin Mohd Noor. Also present were the Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police ACP Haji Mohd Don bin Haji Harith as well as senior officials at Royal Brunei Police Force.
The ceremony was held at the RBPF headquarters in Gadong. At the ceremony, Dato Seri Pahlawan Peter Ng Joo Hee inspected the guard of honour and later paid a courtesy call to RBPF Commissioner of Police along with the other Singaporean delegates.
