SIXTY-EIGHT trees were planted at the Berakas Forest Recreation Park as part of an activity led by the Minister of Industry and Primary Resources, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yahya bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar. The activity was held to strengthen the relationship between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand.
In attendance were the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, Hajah Normah Suria Hayati binti Pehin Jawatan Dalam Seri Maharaja Dato Seri Utama (Dr) Haji Awang Mohd Jamil Al-Sufri, and general staff from the ministry and was held in commemoration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 68th birthday recently.
The activity was organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam and saw participation from members of the Thai community.
