AS THE school year 2014 draws to a close, 62 Kindergarten (KG) 3 pupils of St John’s School, Kuala Belait, have received their graduation certificates in a ceremony held recently.
The ceremony started with a welcoming speech by Principal Dr Teh Keng Watt followed by the speeches delivered by representatives of the KG 3 graduates.
Nur Izyan Bazilah binti Sulaiman and Nur Pheysha Adryanna binti Pawira took turns expressing their gratitude to their parents and teachers in two different languages namely English and Bahasa Melayu, which has been a part of their curriculum. They thanked the school’s principal, teachers and their parents for the experiences they had in school during their numerous outings to government offices and the lessons in the Extra Curricular Activities (ECA).
It was then followed by the presentation of certificates to KG 3 graduates.
The ceremony also saw song and dance performances by the talents of the KG 2 and KG 3. There was also a choir performance, entitled ‘Dubulau’, by Children’s Chorus.
The song entitled ‘Sing’ was performed by KG 3 children for the finale.
The ceremony concluded with parents and graduates invited for photo sessions and enjoying themselves at the graduation party at their respective classes.
