ACTING on a public tip-off, personnel of Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Unit under the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBFF) on Wednesday afternoon detained a government servant suspected of running a 4-D lottery operation.
The RBPF nabbed the suspect in the heart of the capital when he was registering 4-D numbers that were passed on to him. Cash and mobile phones that were allegedly used for the 4-D operation were also seized.
If found guilty, the offender will be charged under Section 4 (C) Chapter 28 of the Common House Gambling Act.
The RBPF reminded the public not to be involved in any criminal activities and urged them to report any suspicious activities by contacting 993 or making a report at the nearest police station.
