THE Coffee Bean Brunei brought cheers to patrons at the Times Square Shopping Mall after successfully organising the final ‘Let’s Get Happy Campaign’ for 2014 yesterday with fun-filled activities catered for children and adults alike.
The main highlight of the event was the official launch of the new and improved CBTL coffee machine called ‘Desto’ whereby customers can brew their own delicious espresso, coffee or tea from the comfort of their homes.
Among the features of Desto include a unique twin pressure system designed and made in Italy, which can hold up to 10 capsules at a time. It is also easy to use with just a simple touch of a button.
The Coffee Bean offered $100 off from the original price of $399 only for yesterday’s event. However, coffee lovers will still get a chance to purchase Desto at a discounted price of 20 per cent off until tomorrow at all Coffee Bean outlets.
Among other activities held yesterday was the announcement of winners for the ‘Find Your Story Contest’ using CBTL selected capsules; a collaboration with Kristal FM radio station. Four winners received their prizes presented by the General Manager of The Coffee Bean, Khairul Nizam Abu Bakar.
The six-hour long event which began at 3pm also saw the special appearance of Mr Ice Blended, the official mascot for The Coffee Bean who flew in from California and brought even more cheers to the event.
Other activities included a colouring contest for children aged seven to 10 years old, Blue Tiger story telling corner, and the best signature beverage competition.
Khairul Nizam was also delighted to note that the campaign reached its main mission, which was to build stronger relations with its customers. Customers of the Coffee Bean can expect more similar campaigns next year, he added.
