A FIRM’S staff are its ‘diplomats’, as they are the ones who have to deal with the clienteles and put the company’s preeminent face forward.
This was shared by G4S Brunei during the first G4S & S3 Brunei Family Day, which was held at the Berakas Forest Reserve camping area yesterday.
They believe that such events show the company’s appreciation for the services of their employees, who will in return be more motivated to give their best in their tasks and responsibilities.
The event provided an opportunity for all the staff and their family members to come together and get to know one another, particularly since not all employees work in the same district.
The employees do not see each other at work because they are stationed all over Brunei Darussalam.
Having family members as part of the celebration also helped to instil family values among the employees.
The company’s management division also showed up at the event to demonstrate their concern and camaraderie with the staff. They also participated in the opening game.
There were interesting games arranged to engage all, including the children.
G4S is the world’s leading international security solutions group, operating in over 100 countries with over 500,000 employees.
In Brunei, the company has more than 200 local employees.
Other than guarding services, the company also provides services for ATMs and other electronic security systems, which are highly demanded by the general public.
Also part of their services is the storage, which provides companies and individuals a secure, air-conditioned space to keep their important information and data.
