IN CONJUNCTION with the year-end school holidays, the Library and Education Resources Unit of the Co-Curriculum Development Department, Ministry of Education, once again conducted its school holiday activities called ‘LAKAS TAH BEDUDUN’.
The three-day event ended yesterday with a prize and certificate presentation held at the Conference Hall (P1) of the Ministry of Education.
The chief guest was Acting Assistant Director of Co-Curriculum Development (PPK2), Awg Yusof bin Haji Jemudin.
According to Awg Asmadi Haji Ibrahim, Head of Librarian and Education Resources Unit, Ministry of Education, a total of 80 participants comprising children of officers and staff of the Department of Co-Curriculum joined in the activities.
The activity was the fourth of its kind held to keep the children occupied during the school holidays with meaningful educational activities.
Children take part mostly in creative and educational activities and at the same time they could also share their experience and knowledge among themselves and also building their self-confidence, he said.
Among the activities were paper weaving, quiz, Jigsaw puzzle, arts and crafts, story-telling and more.
The chief guest, in his speech, expressed gratitude and appreciation to all volunteers and facilitators of the event.
