FRESHCO yesterday held its Charity Sushi Bazaar to raise funds for the Sunshade Project of Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, so that the centre can install a large shade to protect children playing at the centre’s open area.
Officiating the bazaar yesterday was the Director of Policy and Planning Trustee of Pusat Ehsan, Haji
Ahmad bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
In his speech, Haji Ahmad thanked Freshco for its support. He added that the centre still faces challenges and obstacles toward educating, training and rehabilitating students.
Assisted by competent chefs and staff from Sushi Tei, students of Pusat Ehsan will be helping to sell sushi at a affordable price.
The bazaar took place at Freshco’s atrium and included fun activities such a sushi-making class and a pretzel-ma-king class conducted by Auntie Anne’s.
