FREDA Radin School held a graduation ceremony for its students at the Youth Development Centre Hall in Kg Tanah Jambu, recently.
Cikgu Kassim Hj Ibrahim, Education officer at the Private Education, Ministry of Education, was the guest of honour at the event.
Pg May Fazura Pg Radin, Principal of Freda Radin School, expressed the school’s pride of not only having 100 per cent pass rate in the PSR examination but also about the school’s special students with Down Syndrome who managed to pass English, Science and MIB.
She added that the school takes great interest in teaching special kids and this is not the first time that special kids sat for PSR examination.
“Our deepest appreciation goes to the Education Ministry, in particular the Special Education Unit , for the strong cooperation and support extended to the school and of course to parents of the students for their continuous support and to the Youth Development Centre for allowing them to use the centre’s hall.”
On the future development of the school such as relocating the school to a more spacious and comfortable environment with better facilities, the principal said that the school had applied for a 10-acre land last year and currently it is under process with Ministry of Education and the Department of Town and Country Planning.
After the certificate and prize presentation ceremony, the school’s preschool to Year 6 students staged colourful performances.
