He added that he felt honoured to be invited to various functions especially those attended by royalties as it helped him understand more of the Bruneian and Muslim culture as well as witnessing the close ties between His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and the people.
In his third year as Thai Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, he continued, Brunei was the Chair of Asean and he witnessed the successful year of Asean under the Sultanate’s chairmanship.

She added that the exchanges between both countries during the two years were manifold and at the highest levels.
“Since this is my first posting as ambassador, my assignment in Brunei will take a special place in my life. One can only appreciate the blissful life, the peace and tranquillity we are accustomed here when we are in the hustle and bustle of great city life,” said the outgoing Myanmar Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.
Both ambassadors also extended their appreciation to His Majesty, the royal family and the Government of Brunei Darussalam who have extended full cooperation and support during their tenure here.
