THE Empire Hotel & Country Club yesterday hosted a workshop on ‘Creating Synergised Mindset for High Performing Organisations’.
The event was organised by the Civil Service Institute (IPA) and coordinated by the Centre of Learning and Development, IPA.
Sixty individuals from the government and private sectors attended the workshop led by IPA’s Senior Special Duties Officer, Hjh Linda Aini binti Abdullah. Also present was the Acting Director of IPA, Hjh Norezan binti Hj Hambali.
The workshop was aimed at promoting the concept of thinking skills, through ‘The Brainmap Assessment Tool’, as an instrument to create a mind that is more focused and synergised. This will generate a way of thinking that is concentrated and substantial, which can enhance the performance of an organisation.
The workshop was divided into three sections. Part one touched on the awareness of one’s thinking process and part two covered the affirmation of one’s whole brain thinking process while part three highlighted the application of the whole brain system thinking in changing and creating.
The one-day workshop was presented by a lecturer in the field of organisational development, Dr Perla Rizalina Tayko.
