A FUN-FILLED charity bazaar at the Royal Wharf in the Capital organised by the Mukim Gadong ‘B’ Consultative Council and the Brunei-Muara District Office came to a conclusion yesterday with a prize presentation ceremony for a number of activities hosted during the five-day event.
Among the activities held in the charity bazaar were coloring competition for children, a ‘Tamiya’ race, Zumba, funfair and a haunted house which attracted scores of visitors.
Prizes for the colouring competition were handed over to winners by Dayang Siti Fatma binti Haji Jair, the Organiser and Coordinator of the event, who also represents the Women’s Bureau of the Mukim Gadong ‘B’ Consultative Council.
Dayang Siti Fatma in an interview expressed her satisfaction with the good response and turn-out to the event which was held to collect funds for the Mukim Gadong ‘B’ Orphans’ Fund and shared that more events like this will be held in the future with more exciting activities.
On the final day, Penghulu of Mukim Gadong Major (Rtd) Haji Bakar bin Sapar handed over certificates of appreciations to participants of the charity bazaar comprising the Mukim’s consultative council as well as small and medium enterprises.
